We have been extremely busy over the past couple of months and we would like to thank the entire Craft Crate community for supporting us.

And due to this ongoing support, we have some exciting news!

We have moved into a new warehouse!

The Warehouse

As we have grown and produced more and more craft activities for your OOSH/OSHC centres, space has been increasingly hard to come by. Our old headquarters just weren’t big enough for the plans we have for the future. Now, with over 150sqm of floor space, we are able to not just keep up to date with our ongoing orders, but look to expand into a bigger realm of possibility. 

Our warehouse consists of a ground floor with enough room for 2 laser cutters (yes two!), an upstairs office where we can update you on our progress and complete your orders, a secondary office for employees and freelancers, a kitchen, and even a recreation room!

Most importantly, this space means we are able to produce, package, and send out orders up to 3 times as quickly. We won’t be tripping over boxes of craft supplies in the process, and we are able to pack, store and send orders in a much more organised fashion.

New machine 

In addition to our exciting new space, we thought it only right to fill it with a brand new machine!

Our latest laser cutter is dual-headed, meaning it cuts twice as fast and just as accurately as our previous method of cutting. This in turn halves the time taken to manufacture your orders and allows more time to perfect our new design ideas and upcoming product launches.

Alongside our dual-headed machine, our regular cutter is still in operation, and with both machines working at a rapid rate, our overall output has basically tripled! With these new improvements, we cannot wait to showcase our latest work. It is a massive step towards working harder than ever to expand Craft Crate into a prime supplier of craft activities across the country.

The future

It’s incredible to reflect on our humble beginnings of August of 2019 and see how much has changed. Almost our entire success thus far has come during COVID and now we are almost returned to normal (touch wood), it is surreal to think how much different things could have been if it wasn’t for your awesome support.

COVID gave us an opportunity to work in the most extreme circumstances a new business could possibly encounter, yet we are still here and striving to continue creating the best products we can. 

Next year our goal is to have 1000 OOSH/OSHC centres order a free sample box and test out our products. Showing us love on Facebook and Instagram, sharing our craft ideas, ordering our new range of items and continuing to be active in our community would mean the world to us.
