Goals For The Year
Hello!
We hope you had an excellent break and are feeling refreshed now the new year is well and truly upon us.
And with a new year comes new opportunities.
Craft Crate is dedicated to providing you with even more sustainable craft activities and ideas throughout 2022, so we have established a number of goals we wish to share with you in order to help build a better world for our children and our environment.
Aside from our sample boxes and regularly updated products, we are thrilled to announce the unveiling of our biggest project yet-
Our Medieval Crate!
We’ll provide a few more details next week but this is by far our most ambitious project and we are so excited for you to be a part of it!
However, with this new endeavor came a realisation-
We have always strived to create activities using sustainable practices and that will never change. However, we are increasingly conscious of how much wood we are acquiring to fulfill our vast sum of orders.
And although our wood is sustainably sourced, we have still been responsible for cutting down a large number of trees.
So this year we are taking responsibility for our environmental impact and we decided it was time to do something about it.
So instead of just cutting down trees, this year we are going to plant some.
For every order we receive, we will plant one tree, with the goal of minimizing our carbon footprint and restoring our environment.
We hope you can help us reach 1000 trees planted by the end of the year, as part of our ongoing pledge for sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
This also ties in nicely with another major goal, of reaching a total of 100 000 activities sold by the end of 2022.
At the moment we are sitting on 57, 713 and we are so happy that our products have been able to engage so many of your children.
By reaching even more this year, we hope we can instill positive environmental habits and creatively inspire children to think outside the box and help build a healthier planet for us all.
